Aims of the workshop:

To inform businesses of present and projected scientific capabilities relevant to the quantitative assessment of climate-related risks, with particular focus on those time horizons of most relevance for strategic planning (1-20 years).
To inform the climate science community about businessinformation needs for quantitative assessment of climate-related risks.
To promote an active dialogue between the climate science and business communities to facilitate the rational assessment and management of climate-related risks.
